Today is a blog for our girls in Oklahoma. Today is blog of fun. I wanted to show you that we have good times, even in the midst of the rough. In fact, as I write, we have just spent 30 minutes struggling to get the girls to go to bed. Strike that we are now working on 1.5 hours and no luck. This involves a lot of "leave me alone" in Swahili and sometimes getting out of bed. Next comes the screaming and the holding and the rocking and the screaming and finally silence. Just ask our neighbors. Just don't ask the french man across the quad. He already hates us.
By the way, we are now unveiling Katie's new name. Her new name is Natalie.

PRECIOUS posting dedicated to your 4 sweet girls!!! How could you not be having some fun there with those two stinkers. They crack me up!!! They are quite into the dressup stage and jewelry and the sunglasses crack Caroline and I up!!!

How wonderful to honor Natalie with a beautiful niece who will share her name! That is fantastic!!! We love all four of your awesome girls and it is a really good thing that Josee and Natalie like watching soccer and bike racing:)! I see a lot of watching and participating in their future:)! ReplyDeleteOk...I'm officially crying. The big tears. I am so honored to have such an adorable little brown girl share my name. I'm speechless..and you know that doesn't happen very often. I hope they settled down for bed and sleep well. We had a great time at the VBS carnival. Kate and Abby fell right to sleep after showering all the shaved ice syrup off their legs! I'm sure you don't mind that I let them have two sno-cones. You know, it's hot here! I'll video their program tomorrow. They're super excited about it. Love to you all!
